How to Participate

Mark your calendars and get ready to celebrate your favorites! This exciting event honors outstanding contributors in various categories. Here’s how you can join the fun:

1. Nomination Phase (December 13, 2024 – January 1, 2025):
   During this period, you have the opportunity to nominate your favorites across all categories. Whether it’s an exceptional author, a groundbreaking book, or an inspiring creative project, we want to hear from you. Submitting nominations is simple—just ensure your nominees meet the eligibility criteria. Feel free to nominate as many favorites as you’d like, and yes, self-nominations are encouraged!

   Eligibility Criteria: To be considered, publications must have been released between November 1, 2023, and November 30, 2024.

2. Review Period (January 2, 2025 – January 10, 2025):
   After the nomination phase closes, our team will carefully review all submissions to ensure eligibility and relevance. From these entries, the top five nominees in each category will be selected as finalists. These exceptional contenders will be announced ahead of the voting phase.

3. Voting Phase (January 15, 2025 – January 31, 2025):
   Once the finalists are revealed, it’s time for your voice to count! You’ll be able to cast your vote for your favorite finalist in each category. Voting is allowed once per day, so be sure to support your top picks consistently throughout this period.

Celebrate the winners during our virtual announcement event on February 4, 2025, at 8:00 PM EST. Join us on the SCBookGal & Friends Podcast to honor their achievements.
