I am Angela Thomas Smith, an author, coach, speaker, podcast host, and owner of my own business. I have a passion for empowering individuals and helping them achieve success in their personal and professional lives.
Tell us about your featured book.
My featured book series is titled "Silently Hurting Inside; Hurt no More is a 3 book Collection of POEMS bringing awareness to mental health and wellness.
How do you come up with the titles to your books?
When it comes to coming up with the titles for my books, I like to capture the essence of the main message or theme of the book. I brainstorm ideas and often ask for feedback from trusted individuals to ensure the title resonates with potential readers.
Describe your writing space.
My writing space is a cozy and serene corner in my home. I have a desk near a window that overlooks nature, which provides inspiration and tranquility. Surrounding myself with motivational quotes and personal mementos helps create a conducive atmosphere for writing.
What is the most difficult part about writing for you?
The most difficult part about writing for me is finding the discipline and motivation to sit down and write consistently. Overcoming procrastination and self-doubt can be challenging, but I have developed strategies and routines to keep myself on track.
Who is the author you most admire in your genre?

An author I admire in my genre is Amanda Gorman . Her work on vulnerability, resilience, and courage has had a profound impact on me. I admire her ability to blend research with personal storytelling, making her work relatable and engaging for readers.
What do you like to do when you’re not writing?
When I'm not writing, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, and exploring nature. These activities help me recharge and find inspiration for my work.
If you could tell your younger writing self anything, what would it be?
If I could tell my younger writing self anything, it would be to trust the process and not be too hard on myself. Writing is a journey, and it's okay to make mistakes and have moments of self-doubt. Embrace the learning and growth that comes with it.
