At what point do you think someone should call themselves a writer?
I think anyone that spends their days writing books, novellas, short stories, and even someone that writes in a journal can call themselves a writer.

What part of the book was the most fun to write?
The fun part of writing a book for me is coming up with the characters and their personalities.

Are there any books or authors that inspired you to become a writer?
Authors like Zane, Sister Souljah, Wahida Clark and Terri Woods are some of the many authors that aspired me to become a writer. I’ve been reading their books since I was in middle school.

What advice would you give to help others create plotlines?
I write off the top of my head. I’ve never really created plot lines, the most I do is write down important dates and events.

Do you play music while you write — and, if so, what’s your favorite?
I like to listen to Erykah Badu, Summer Walker, HER, and Cardi B depending on what I’m writing about at the moment.

If you could spend a day with another popular author, whom would you choose, and why?
This is a hard question because I have a lot of favorite authors, but if I had to choose I think it would be Sister Souljah. She seems like she’s really down to earth. I fell in love with her after reading the Coldest Winter Ever. This was one of the best urban fiction book I had read in my life. I would love to pick her brain on how she came up with this storyline.

How do you use social media as an author?
I use my social media sites to connect with readers and promote my work.

What would you like to say to your readers?
To my readers, I would like to thank them for supporting me through my
writing journey. I really appreciate each and everyone of you guys.
